Kristin Fisher joined CNN in 2021 when she joined CNN. She'll be CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher is in charge of covering all things from NASA's newly-created Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Kristin is the daughter of NASA astronauts, and also an avid space fan, grew up immersed in the field. She spent five years working as the White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy in the Biden and Trump administrations. In that period she also covered two impeachment trials for the president as well as the 2020 presidential campaign, and two administration's attempts to control the pandemic of coronavirus. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan on a highly-restricted trip.
